Heritage Explorer is currently being resprayed by Pedros Yacht Refinishing in Devon. She is having a full respray (in Heritage Oil’s colours) and antifoul, and will be ready for the launch party on the 26th.

On Sunday 30th August we had a collection in Petersfield during the August Bank Holiday Festivities. This was our most successful yet with nearly £200 raised, people were friendly and interested, and it was good to do a collection with our real boat.

Last week we met with Pat Fox, the Business Development Manager in the Human Performance Centre at London South Bank University, who is helping us put together training and nutritional programmes. This will ensure that we are making the best use of our time during our training sessions and eating correctly.

We now have 5 weeks until Heritage Explorer is shipped out to the Canary Islands and so our main focus at the moment is getting her and all of her equipment ready to go.
